I’ve been working in the industry since 2022, but my fascination with hair started much earlier. At 13, I began doing my mum’s locs, and growing up with older brothers who came home with fresh fades every week sparked my interest in barbering and the culture that surrounds it.
I completed my apprenticeship and qualified at Woolf Kings X, where I quickly became fully booked on the shop floor. This encouraged me to continue developing my skills, so I went on to complete a barbering course to further strengthen my techniques and expand my knowledge.
I specialise in locs, braids and fades, with a strong focus on understanding exactly what each client wants. I love the attention to detail that comes with my work and find the process incredibly calming. For me, it’s about more than creating a great look - I enjoy making clients feel confident when they leave the chair and take pride in looking after them throughout the service. One of my favourite parts of the job is meeting people from different walks of life and the conversations that come with it.
Working with different hair types and textures has given me a huge amount of confidence in my skills and allowed me to continually learn and evolve. At 17, I had my first experience working on a show, braiding the hair of the choreographer and dancers for Jason Derulo’s concert. This opened the door to opportunities across shoots, shows and red carpets, including working on shoots for Vogue and Grazia, as well as advertising campaigns for Prada and Miu Miu.
I’m excited to continue pushing my creativity, developing new techniques and creating fresh looks every day. I want to keep building my experience across the fashion and creative industries, working on more shoots, shows and campaigns, while continuing to grow as a barber and bring my own perspective to every look I create.
