“I have been a barber for fifteen years and I was first inspired by photographers like Richard Avedon, Wolfgang Tilmans, Helmut Newton and David La Chapelle. What I enjoy most about cutting hair was focusing on the moment mid haircut or shave.

I like to see myself as thoughtful, interactive, knowledgeable and passionate and someone who is able to provide a safe space for my clients.

I would say my speciality would be mid-length hair and beards, but you can’t beat a classic pompadour haircut with texture. I just really enjoy working with all textures of hair and all genders and I would have really loved to cut Jimi Hendrix’s hair in particular.

My top hairdressing product would have to be Kevin Murphy Staying alive, makes cutting hair like butter with a hot knife. I would also say that the best haircare advice I could give is to refrain from shampooing too often and and to condition more.”
